earlier this week, i checked how many palestinians were killed this year, and then i thought: wait, the year is not over yet. cynical? or realistic?
do you remember (were u aware?) that one palestinian was killed and several injured on 27.12. (three years after the beginning of “cast lead”)?
this morning, israeli military shelled east gaza. they killed Mo’min Abu Daff and injured five others, one of them said to be in critical condition.

I want to wait with this until the first of next year, because really, the year is not over yet and i fear we might still mourn another martyr in the next 1,5 days/nights.
So far, Israeli military or settlers have killed 240 Palestinians this year, 19 of whom children. I have no idea how many were injured, nor how many of them are still in hospital or maimed for life. I just know that we are still trying to support Mohammad Zaza (the 15 year old who survived a missile attack on him and his 12 year old cousin ibrahim – who died in an israeli hospital on 19. Sept. – which was fired via remote control from an unmanned drone and targeted that two boys specifically, while they were playing in front of their homes) while he struggles to heal.
This year, I think 6 (or 7) Israeli civilians were killed by Palestinians (and no soldiers, as far as I know). Numbers don’t matter, u think? that is racism, because every person killed matters – and the death of these 6 or 7 was communicated by mainstream media in many “western” countries.
